The Day I Realized My Uncle Hung Around With Gay Guys

| | I feel this way about mental illness. It took me a very long time to get treatment because while I knew I had certain issues, I could not view myself as someone with a mental illness. Or, in my case and in the way depression likes to lie, "you have no good *reason* to be depressed..." and so ignore all evidence that in fact, even in absence of such, that's what it really is. |
