Yeah, it's amazing how "New-Yorky" they got it to look. It's impossible to describe exactly what I mean by "New-Yorky", but looking just at those pictures, I would have thought that you and Gini were actually in NYC. I'm astounded.

It wasn't convincing to me, but that's because I could see around it. It was too open. New York is hunched.

Too clean too.

Not enough layers to the graffiti or posters. Not enough walls postered with what has to be 3000 of the same exact 8.5 x 11 "come see this semi obscure band" flyers, not enough age and mosture curling to the posters on the "deli", or dogs, or bird poop, or puddles of "mystery moisture"...

Sadly this all makes me feel strangely smug and terratorial about NY.

I did get that feeling from the photos, and oddly enough I've never even been to New York.
