i just wanted to point out how messed up it is that this statement is true in the usa.

Frankly, I have to agree; I'm not sure if you are looking at it the same way as I am though.

I get very angry at the christian movement because their afraid to "expose our youth" to anything outside their conservative views. But then the secular movement is just as afraid to allow our youth to look beyond the concrete and question anything that they wish to teach.

It's all the same to me. Fear. And it's keeping our youth from learning anything really.

that's not really what i meant - i was trying to say that politics should not be inherently affected by religion.
