My Own Private Continuity
In my mind, Jackie Tyler and Elton Pope have made up and become fast friends.
That's the way it is. They really deserve each other. Not in that way, but she needs a pal and he's one hell of a sweet guy.
And yeah, it's probably my favorite episode of that season. Sad, but true.

A Thought On Our Relationship
Ever since our X-Box 360 broke down, we've been like junkies on withdrawal. Gini longs for the sweet, sweet caress of the strap around her shoulders; my fingers twitch on imaginary buttons.
Now me, I've been dealing with it in a surfeit of music videos. I'm watching other people playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero, listening to them in the background, noting their technique and getting some pale satisfaction from seeing other people doing it.
Gini, on the other hand, doesn't want to think about it. If she can't have Rock Band, she doesn't want to know. Even bringing it up when she can't play irritates her.
Which is fine. But it occurred to me today that once again, I'm watching porn because it's better than nothing, and she's not watching it because it's not.
