Why I Love Politics
If you'd told me six months ago that Giuliani would be a footnote to the Republican campaign, I never would have believed you... Well, unless you told me that some fierce and new scandal had erupted. And now, thanks to his "I'll bank everything on Florida" campaign, he's just sort of blown away with the wind. It's like he just lost interest at some point, and people forgot about him. Amazing.
Edwards, on the other hand, I saw coming. The question is, "Who, if anyone, will he throw his support to?" As others have noted, his absence is probably going to boost Obama's standing, but Lord knows how much.
And I have the feeling that Ron Paul will keep grinding on until the very end. It's a total horse race, y'all.
