I Got No Time For A Big Review...
...But "Cloverfield" is a perfect hybrid of "Blair Witch Project" meets "Godzilla." It's done well, it's clever, and it's one of the tensest movies I've ever seen.

Here's the deal: If you ever said these two phrases:

"I wonder what the screaming civilians on the street see when Godzilla comes to town," and:

"I need a movie filmed entirely in shakycam," then:

This is the movie for you. Otherwise, you might have some issues. But it's an absolute gem of a horror flick in that you see what they see - no more, no less. And while it is, naturally, a little coincidental that the same characters wind up at Ground Zero of every major event, it's an awesome awesome movie. I may have to see it again.

[info]yuki_onna, I apologize for the clawmarks left on your leg.
