Life With Gini And Ferrett
FERRETT: Wow, did you see those new dog breeds written up in The Week? They're kind of weird. There's the Goldendoodle, a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, and a Schnoodle, and a Labradoodle...

GINI: It's amazing how much people can charge for mutts. And yet I bet the AKC will have nothing to do with them.

FERRETT: Yeah, they charge a lot. Look, it's $300 for the Puggle, the Pug/Beagle hybrid, but look at the way they're talking about it! "The beagle side of this mixed-breed upgrades the poor respiratory system of the pug." That's a weird term to use in dog breeding: "upgrade." It's like if you paid them an extra $200, you could get a dog with anti-lock brakes.

GINI: You mean anti-lock barks.

(Pause)

FERRETT: I hate you.

GINI (ruffles Ferrett's hair): You were close, dear.
