Ah ok, I thought the wheel chair platform was what you were calling the kneeler and that does take an extraordinary amount of time. What's the kneeler then? Also I've seen raised and lowered platforms, not ramps, so we may be familiar with totally different bus designs. I've ridden public trans from the mid-west to the northeast US and I'm not sure what you're talking about.

two entirely different things.

the kneeler is where the right side of the bus drops down to meet or drop below curb level to make boarding easy as possible.
