| | My initial reaction is "I think you missed the point." If the only thing that matters is that it does work-- and as Ferrett pointed out, that taking steps to preserve your relationship is a fine and defensible reason for being monogamous-- then why does it matter if it seems odd? There are a lot of things that seem odd to me that seem normal to other people. I don't get how people can accept the premise "as long as it works for you, it's okay" and then proceed to say how odd it is that you do such and such.
I'm not so much offended as I just honestly don't get it... I obviously didn't find a good way to express that, sorry. I guess we both stay confused. |
