I'm much more likely to respond to "I miss you" than I am to "I'm jealous." I'm also more likely to say "I miss you" to my husband. It's not that I don't ever feel jealous, but the jealousy isn't usually the bulk of the feeling. It's not that I don't want him to have fun with other people, I'd just love to have him with me more sometimes :)
