I think the best way he could have dealt with having read her post was to do this: Don't mention at all that he saw it. Give her a hug and a kiss and tell her how much he and her mother loves her and appreciates all she does to help out around the house. I think that would have changed her attitude. The way he decided to deal with it will just escalate the negativity around that home.
