If what you say is true, I have carelessly laid myself open to a counter-attack so devastating to any credibility I have that I could not reasonably expect any of what I've said in this thread to be taken remotely seriously by anyone.

I mean, from what you say, I've handed you a knife, turned my back, blindfolded myself, and then stuck my fingers in my ears. Surely in that case it is worth your time to expend the minimal effort it'd take to slip the blade between my ribs.

If nothing else, can you honestly say at this point you'd take no pleasure at all in knocking me back on my heels? In shutting me up through the most honorable of methods, and showing yourself to be the better and more worthy party besides? I wonder.

Yeah, no. "lol you're so stupid" is your argument goal, not mine. I have no wish at all to undermine your credibility in the things you're right about, and trying to argue with someone whose back is turned and whose fingers are in their ears, well, that would make me the fool you insist I am.
