When that changes, feel free to point it out to me, but alas, currently? No, they aren't going to do any legwork.

Then, at the end of the day, that should be on them. Why should the rest of us suffer?

??? If you think not being able to use a lightbulb that not only wastes your money, but puts a higher burden for power supply on the rest of your country is "suffering", I'd like to introduce you to the real world.

The point that's been made that you keep avoiding is the arguments you are using have been used forever to defend stupid decisions that a progressed world doesn't even see a point in debating (like, slavery). You keep avoiding it by merely adding more to the argument.

Your choice is inefficient and has an affect on more than just you. Feel free to avoid the facts and only talk about yourself and your, apparently, rough life of light bulb choosing, but that doesn't change the power issues we face as a nation that some people are trying to actively make better for not just themselves, but you and our grandchildren's children. Forgive me if I have more respect for them than I do for the guy claiming that his light bulbs make him suffer.

It's thankfully not a hardship for me. That may not be true for others.

The point that's been made that you keep avoiding is the arguments you are using have been used forever to defend stupid decisions that a progressed world doesn't even see a point in debating (like, slavery). You keep avoiding it by merely adding more to the argument.

I ignore it because it's, frankly, silly. You assume telling people what products they can buy, what things they can use, is equatable with slavery. It's ridiculous.

Your choice is inefficient and has an affect on more than just you. Your choice is unfair and has an affect on more than you. Feel free to avoid the impacts of your choices in favor of whatever green lifestyle you want to force on the rest of us.

Um, no... no one is equating it to slavery - we ARE equating the arguments used to defend both.

Reading comprehension. Please be to getting you some.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'll stop reading comparisons as comparisons.
