It's the whole argument that soccer moms give over violent video games.

And it's a dumb argument there, too. If what you said was true, as videogames got more violent people would get more violent; as it is, we have millions of acts of virtual murder committed on a daily basis, and the violent crime rate has decreased. Correlation does not equal causality, but chart the two lines and there's something there.

Humans can fantasize about awful things, and find them entertaining, even cathartic. Millions of young girls watch horror movies; few of them grow up to be Jason.
