One of the things I noticed about Prototype is that there don't appear to be any children. I think there was the occasional stroller, but always at an angle that didn't show an infant, and the parks were devoid of tots and kids.

I'm pretty sure that I read something about adding children causing legal difficulties in this kind of game. Bingo. Even "you can kill everyone, choose your path" games like Fable 2 and Fallout 3 generally have "you cannot harm children" clauses built in. But if we don't ask the questions of how to do it here, in this game where it's at odds, then how will we learn to perfect it in games where we don't have those odds against?
Intellectual exercise are neat. |
