And The Winners Are....
The problem with the LJ Obsession Test is that I couldn't call shenanigans. On the original Purity Test and the Roleplaying Purity Test, there were questions that were specifically designed to weed out lying scumbags who were looking to inflate their score. If they answered these fake questions "yes," then I knew they were just talking shit and I could just fail to enter their results.

I could not do so with the LJ Obsession test, so pretty much anyone can say whatever they want. This irritates me, but I couldn't find a question that wasn't obvious. So take all of these with a grain of salt.

Highest Community Score
[info]furrymouse has a 95%, but he says in his own journal that he questions it. His scores look a tad suspicious on all accounts on the high side, and he has under 150 people friended to him, but he is a furry - so there's the potential for severe drama (and thus intense bonding) from all sides.

[info]girlghoul also has a 95%, and about 431 friends, and two other journals to track her. Her, I believe, no question.

[info]shadesong is in third place with 93%, followed by [info]vanityfair (714 friends and a 91%), [info]kyriedj (243 friends, but a member of a whopping 118 communities - 89%), and then the 88%ers of [info]otana (110 friends - but 10 separate subaccounts and several communities), [info]aegeus (110 friends), and [info]vortex (354 friends, but friended to an near-inverse of 534).

Interestingly enough, the next person on the list at 86% is [info]being_homeless, who's been written about in magazines, and apparently has time to take stupid tests.

Highest Memesheepage
[info]swirlgrrl has taken every single one. That's right. 100%. Her journal looks it, too. (Her journal is also entitled "little mary go fuck yourself's journal.") I do note, however, that she did not post her results of the LJ Obsession Quiz.

[info]disgracedangel has a 98% and did put it on there, as did [info]jessie_bannon.

Highest Original Content
[info]aegeus shows up here at 96%, which seems suspiciously high - but he does have a high posting rate and his power's been out, so perhaps I didn't go back far enough. [info]jessie_bannon also has a 96%, indicating that perhaps I should revamp the original content questions for the next time; it seemed to reward a lot of posting more than it did original posting, because a one-line "I hate work" repeated five times would count more than a single two-page in-depth rant. They're not doing anything wrong, but I was attempting to measure more how you approached LJ as a creative writing exercise.

Ah well. Live and learn.

[info]darkrhiannon comes in at 95% with no problem, as do [info]hysterium (93%) and [info]goldrose (91%).

Highest Attention Whoring
[info]guild took the test five times (or refreshed too often) and came in with a 100% - but apparently guild's failing miserably, since he or she only has 71 friended. Next [info]pickingdaisies (31 friended, 97%) and [info]biggerstaff (93%, 102 - and if you're really that desperate for people, my first hint is don't make all of your posts friends-only), and [info]tinytinkerbell (93%, 48 friends).

Highest Psychodrama Score
Now wouldn't you like to know? I'm not telling. I will say that one person claimed 100%, but his journal only had five friends; I suspect that either he's a lying fucking scumbag, or has retreated, Federal Witness Protection-style, to an anonymous journal.

Also, there are only four people who show up in the 90%+ category, and two of them have already been mentioned. I'm not saying who.

I'll have to structure the questions better next time. More specifically, they have to ask whether you've done it within a timeframe - say, the last six months.

This was an unofficial thing, and the results are skewed enough that they're mostly accurate but not entirely. I'd redo them.

The stuff I had to read on statistical deviations, however, will definitely come in useful if I do another one. I just don't know what I'd do next.

That's cool, just let us know when you want to redo the questions, cause I have ideas now. I was just wondering because it seemed like it would be a really good networking tool. I got at least one friend from it, and probably would have gotten more. No biggie though. I'll just have to be shameless in another venue. :)

Just wanted to say I liked the quiz, it is a nice tool of procrastination ;)

Hello :o). Really just wanted to drop a note to say that I took the test and I had a lot of fun in realizing how fucked-up I am :oP. As you can see in my highly amused entry.

The questions really had me squeaking without end, and your journal seems to be just as much fun. Consider yourself stalked, while I ponder friending you ;o) -- I'm quite shy so I don't friend too fast actually :oP. I just got done taking the quiz and it's great! I love it. I don't understand how a person can have over 400 friends. I mean I don't have very many and those are already kinda hard to keep up with!

Hi. I enjoyed your quiz about LiveJournal obsession.

One thing I noticed as I was taking it was that all the questions about quizzes and memes asked "did you post the result in your journal" rather than "have you taken the quiz." Does it not count as memesheepage if you catch the meme but don't spread it?

I just took that crazy quiz and think it is pretty damn accurate. Only thing is, the score for my original content should be higher as my journal is all about that really! So yes, it's right that it should definitely rate higher than all the rest.
