And Now That You're All Back... How About Some Charity?

If any of your commenters read this, they should know that I am willing to donate up to $50 to the charity of your choice if you will simply dress up in the Naughty Nurse outfit. If a dozen of us do this, imagine how much good we could do*...and all you have to do is wear a costume that frankly pales in comparison to that gold suit from years past.
I agree. So here's the deal:

If you donate at least $10 to Heifer International, I will in fact dress up in a Naughty Nurse outfit. (For Guthrie, it's at least $50, but he offered.) You will also get a photo of me in some scandalous medical outfit, if you desire - or, for many of you, it may well be worth the $10 to ensure that I never, ever send you a picture of me in a Naughty Nurse outfit, which I will also guarantee.

Those of you who saw me in my Frank-N-Furter outfit know that I have at least decent legs. And I promise I will try to make it as scandalous as possible. After all, it's for charity.

Also, the first person to give $100 (if any do) can choose the hair color and style I will be wearing for the Naughty Nurse outfit. Many of these will involve wigs, since I am the living incarnation of male-pattern baldness, but the first person to hit the century mark can make me dye my hair any color they want.

So how does it work?

1) Go Heifer International's gift catalog and choose an item to purchase. The nice thing about Heifer is that you actually purchase items for poor people - so you could buy an impoverished village a Water Buffalo ($250), a Goat ($120), a Honeybee Swarm ($30), or even just a Flock of Chicks ($20). The minimum $10 bid will get you either a Share of Tree Seedlings or one-twelfth of a Goat.

2) As you're checking out, you'll be able to set up a "Mail Gift Card Quantity." Select "1."

3) Once you've paid up, you'll be asked if you want to create a "gift card." Email the gift card to "Ferrett Steinmetz" at theferrett@theferrett.com. The occasion should be either "YES NAUGHTY NURSE" or "NO NAUGHTY NURSE."

4) Also, just in case, email me privately at theferrett@theferrett.com so that I know to be on the lookout for it and can match names to donations.

5) Some time after Halloween, when I can find Naughty Nurse outfits for cheap, I will take many photos. Possibly videos. And I will either, depending on your preference, tell you where they are or specifically never ever mention it to you again. Your choice.

So hey! For giving money to a good charity, you can either have the weak titillation of having world famous blogger and raconteur The Ferrett dressed up in skimpy medical clothing, or you can ensure that The Ferrett will never ever show you world famous blogger and raconteur The Ferrett in skimpy medical clothing! It's a win/win! (And if you don't give, there's no guarantee I won't spring it on you. Fo'reals.)

I guess the pain of a possible slew of "NO NAUGHTY NURSE" votes would be assuaged by knowing you're doing some good either way, hunh? I was going to say that it sounded like a good way to get your ego bruised, but then I realized there was still a positive aspect to it.

Totally want to say that I applaud your choice of charities!

I visited the Heifer Project center in Arkansas once, way back in 1991 or so -- loved it then, love it now, and you just got lots of good karma points for this post!
