Oh, it's posts like this that make it clear that he *is* polyamorous - as are a lot of people who have many close, intimate friends.

But there is a difference between being polyamorous by nature and actively practicing it! So there ya go!

Hi there!

That's actually the status between my own wifey and I. I'm Poly by Nature^tm, but she isn't, so we compromise. I'm allowed to be affectionate, loving, friendly, and even kissy with other people, just as long as I keep it in my pants. My wifey will always be the 144 point bolded "L"-love, but I'm sure that to the casual observer, I seem like a philandering, cheating, wandering, unfaithful scum-bucket of a husband. (and by "casual", I mean: "-doesn't know about polyamory or alternate forms of non-monogamy")

I thought I'd read on one of the Ferret posts that he wasn't polyamorous, but I probably read it wrong or made a dumb assumption. Sorry about that!! :)

I think he was using it at that time as shorthand for "I'm not practicing," but anyone who knows him in person knows that he goes about being quite cuddly and being happily attracted to assorted people - without thinking hard I can count his current crushes as more than one hand worth of fingers. It's all fun.
