that was during the post-pregnancy period where we kept the testing kit and a bottle of honey very close at hand (and in retrospect honey probably wasn't the best solution but we've learned). Four ER visits and an inpatient stay during the same calendar year and no amount of adjusting her insulin dosage was having any affect. Low attacks came from nowhere followed by days of highs.

she's on an insulin pump and things are MUCH better.
